This venue offers a rare architectural duality: the main house is intimate and detailed, while the conservatory is an expansive, light-filled “blank slate.” We know this venue intimately, and we focus on designs that bridge the gap between the historic garden exterior and the contemporary reception interior.

The primary opportunity at Birkby House is the abundance of natural light. Because the Conservatory features three sides of floor-to-ceiling windows and large skylights, your floral palette will be seen in its truest form. This is a venue where color nuance matters; subtle transitions in blush, mauve, or butter yellow won’t get lost in a dark corner.

The Spaces

The Conservatory

This is the venue’s crown jewel—a modern glass room with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and a prominent fireplace. It is intentionally neutral, allowing for almost any color story.
